“Six months ago we started treating our fuels with Mix-I-Go and Dee-Zol on a trial basis. Using untreated fuel was resulting in the normal fouling of spark plugs and dirtying of injectors, causing poor performance from our fleet of 174 units. After a 30-day trial period, it was determined we were experiencing a better than 10% fuel gain per unit on the tractor-trailers being tested. A 5% fuel gain would have more than paid for the supplement being used. It has also cut our maintenance cost of plugs, injectors, and pumps, thus reducing downtime. We are now using the above supplement in our entire fleet and it is my personal opinion that anyone operating a fleet would be well rewarded for the minor investment in these products.”
