WFTV Action 9 Finds More Ethanol in Gas Than Advertised

WFTV Action 9 Finds More Ethanol in Gas Than Advertised

ethanol problems in enginesWe’ve been preaching for a few months now on the problems with ethanol in gasoline and the coming increase from 10% to 15% ethanol content.

On Feb 15th, WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando, Florida did an investigative report documenting the growing problems that ethanol is causing cars, trucks and small engine equipment in Central Florida.

Not only are local mechanics collecting piles of parts from damaged engines and equipment, but the report also referenced actual government citations for numerous fuel stations just in Central Florida which had measured ethanol content in fuel samples much higher than just 10% - some even pushing 25-30%. That means your fuel mileage is being dropped to an even greater extent than before.

Good job, WFTV Channel 9, for continuing to educate a public that’s growing increasingly dissatisfied with the current fuels situation.
